very comforting, actually. dr. oz: for john and char, how do you teach? what do you teach people about how to harness their intuition? john: the first thing we have to do is have a strong foundation in faith whatever it is. i say faith is free and however you want to frame that faith is a person's choice in religion. i think having a strong foundation of faith is important and trusting that inner voice and trusting there is a higher power helps us be able to listen differently. everybody at the top of th presence and how it talked to them. i think that divine presence talks to all of us if we kind of listen. dr. oz: so how do we actually do it? char: animals have instincts. people have intuition. the first thing you need to do is let your mind go blank and trust the first thought that comes to your head. you have to have the four c's. you have to have the courage, confidence, commitment, conquer. the courage to do it and to make a mistake. the confidence to go ahead and

in milwaukee it appears calm returned to a city and one neighborhood in particular that was shaken by two nights of violent unrest. at a late night news conference the police chief said there had been six arrests and two nights of demonstrations. they were touched off by the deadly shooting of a black man during a traffic stop. police say the video shows the man was armed. the video has not yet been released. a man charged in a shooting. he was initially held for a hit and run. police say they discovered a weapon inside a wall after searching the suspect's home in brooklyn. the authorities have not revealed the motive for the shootings. donald trump is vowing to put all incoming immigrants to the test. as part of his vision to destroy isis and protect the homeland. president obama is trying to make sure trump never makes it to the white house.

parts of the midwest. in central indiana, a tornado. the city of brownsburg west of indianapolis appears to have gotten the worst of it. despite the damage, no one was hurt. in southern louisiana, more than 10,000 residents are spending another night in a shelter because their homes are damaged by flood waters. at least seven people have died in the flood. the national guard said it rescued nearly 8,000 people and 1,200 pets. the rain has finally stopped, but the flooding cones rivers crest downstream. breaking overnight, a suspect has been arrested for allegedly starting a wildfire in northern california. the fast-moving blaze in the lower lake area has destroyed nearly 175 homes and businesses and forced thousands from their homes. the man is being held on 17 counts of arson. officials estimate the fire has caused at least $10 million in damages. the governor has declared a state of emergency. police officers are out in full force in milwaukee after
